This is a post with the category “Assignment.”
Posts set to the “Assignments” category will display on the Resources category page with the newest posts at the top. Use Assignments to post homework or in-class assignments or for students to post work (to post, students must have an appropriate User Role). Only Posts can be categorized as Assignments.
Students can also post in the Course Group.
All posts, regardless of category, will also appear under Posts in the main navigation menu.
Create an Assignment from the dashboard > Posts > Add New. Select the “Assignments” under “Categories” in the post editor.
Edit/Delete this post from the dashboard > All Posts
Optional Readings for Assignment #1
This is a post with the category “Resources.”
Posts set to the “Resources” category will display on the Resources category page with the newest posts at the top. Use Resources posts to make media available to students (ex. texts, PDFs, video, sound, links, etc.). Only Posts can be categorized as Resources.
All posts, regardless of category, will also appear under Posts in the main navigation menu.
Create a Resource from the dashboard > Posts > Add New. Select the “Resources” under “Categories” in the post editor.
Edit/Delete this post from the dashboard > All Posts
New Announcement!
This is a post with the category “Announcements.”
Posts set to the “Announcements” category will display on the Announcements category page with the newest posts at the top. Use Announcement posts to alert students to important, time-sensitive information. Only Posts can be categorized as Announcements.
All posts, regardless of category, will also appear under Posts in the main navigation menu.
All posts are set to default as Announcements, but you can also create an Announcement from the dashboard > Posts > Add New. Select the “Announcements” under “Categories” in the post editor.
